Friends Of John Clare School
The ‘ Friends of John Clare School’ support the children at school by raising money through a range of events throughout the year. Over the past few years, the ‘Friends’ have helped raise money for our interactive whiteboards, new library books and our swimming pool changing rooms. The ‘Friends’ also help our children through part-funding coach travel, providing sports day refreshments and purchasing Christmas crackers for our school Christmas meal!
Events organised by the Friends over the past 12 months have included the Summer Fete, Family Summer BBQ, Halloween Disco, A Ladies Indulgence Night and a Quiz and Curry Evening.
The ‘Friends’ meet once a half term to discuss ideas. Please keep an eye on the School newsletter for the dates of our meetings.
