Our House Teams

 
School Rewards

All the children in school have now been split into four house teams. As our school is named after the poet John Clare, we have decided to name our house teams after other famous English poets. They are…

Children will receive house points for being excellent school citizens and following the school rule:
At John Clare…we take care.‘
If members of staff, including lunchtime supervisors, specialist teachers and sports coaches, see a child taking care, they will award them a house point token. These tokens are placed in a house point box and the scores will be totalled by Year 6 prefects each week.

Sports Day and Music Competition scores will also be added to the totals. At the end of the year, the winning house will receive a special trophy and a special treat!
